We are thrilled to announce that from the 16th of September 2017 our new colleague Marco Bischof (UK trained Osteopath) is offering Saturday osteopathic appointments at our practice.
Give us a call, book online or email us to make an appointment!
After graduating from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London with a Masters degree in Development Economics Marco has spent several years in management positions at international financial institutions. During that time he discovered Iyengar yoga as a way to help counterbalance the challenging physical and mental aspects of modern office life. Through years of yoga therapy he became inspired by osteopathic thinking about the human body and health and decided to change careers and become an osteopathic practitioner and able to help others.
He subsequently trained at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in London where he gained the Masters in Osteopathy (M.Ost.) degree and the Diploma in Naturopathy (D.N.). In his osteopathic practice he put emphasis on understanding the origin of a patient‘s complaint and achieving long-term relief from pain through a combination of hands-on work ranging from soft-tissue treatments to joint manipulations, and dietary and lifestyle counselling.
After many years of living and working in the UK Marco has now relocated back to his hometown of Berlin where he is pursuing further studies in paediatric osteopathy.
In his spare time Marco practices yoga, runs, skis and windsurfs. He is also a keen golfer.
Marco is fluent in German, English and Italian.
